For our next inquiry project we will be learning all about buildings and structures. We did an art project using clay to try and build a stable house. Here are some pictures of the students working.

In math we are just starting subtraction and have introduce one strategy of using pictures and crossing them off. We will be developing more strategies as we go and as the questions get trickier.
Next week is supposed to be VERY cold so please dress your child accordingly. If it is too cold they will stay inside at lunch time and play there instead.
Pizza forms are due back by Thursday Jan. 16th - pizza day will be on Jan. 27th.
Next Wednesday Jan. 15th is Hat Day!
