Learning Plan April 27-May 3rd

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited to see how many students are working hard at home! =) My heart feels happy.

Here is the learning plan for the week. Remember that I LOVE when the students try on their own first so they develop their skills.

Literacy
	*NEW WORDS * Words of the week sentences (10 sentences)
	Picture Prompt -Write about the picture that is posted – you can write a story or write about what you see
	Raz-Kids Read AND record yourself reading
	Epic Read AND respond with writing on the Google Doc posted
Math
	Making 20 on ten frames -students can write 5 different ways to make 20
	Math problems
	Subtraction Action - Watch the video to refresh the subtraction strategies
**** OPTIONAL ****	Prodigy – subtraction focus

Inquiry
Science	Living and Non-living things -listen/read the slides -answer the questions about it
Science	Sort the living and Non-Living things.
	Plants experiment Record your observations of the plants with the picture
