We recently started a new inquiry unit on color and are becoming Color Theorists!
The students have a great understanding of the primary colors and why they are special! (because they can create every other color!)
Here are some pictures of the students exploring that idea using colored water, paints, and clay.
We also learned today about shade and tint of a color and practiced making a primary color lighter or darker to match a paint swatch.
This week we will be going to see the grade 3 and grade 4 dress rehearsals of their upcoming concerts.
Our class will also be starting a new math unit with the math specialist in our school helping out! I am excited to see the students thinking for math!
