Happy warm Monday! (finally)
Today we introduced our new words of the week. The students should begin to recognize patterns in some of our words. The new words are: some, saw, I'll, eat, away.
Our inquiry continued today about structural engineers and urban planners. We drew 5 buildings that were important in a community today!
For subtraction we focused on the counting back strategy. If students can continue to practice counting backwards from 20 that will help them for subtraction!
In gym we started doing floor hockey and practicing our skills! It was a lot of fun.
I hope to see everyone's Home Reading log tomorrow.
