Sorry for the lack of posts! It has been very busy in class!

This week we have been learning about Winter since it is approaching and how we as humans and animals prepare for it.

In math we are continuing with addition and finding strategies that work. We have also been talking about even and odd numbers. Ask your child to show you how they can tell if a number is odd or even.

I love how many students are continuing to do their home reading. It really shows in their progress!
We have been practicing the two vowel rule at school for words like: year, road, and coat. Ask your child what this rule means.

Reminders:
The Food Drive is on until the winter break so please bring any non perishable food items in to class.


Our concert will be on December 12th at 6:00pm

We will be having a spirit week for the last week of school before winter break where each day will have something special to wear or do to gain some school spirit =)! I will keep you posted on what each day will be.
